Happy Birthday Isabella!

This Friday Isabella officially turned 4 (She has seemed 4 for some time now). We celebrated on Friday with lots of Tinkerbell presents and a trip to the local pizza buffet. On Saturday Patrick had his second T-Ball game of the year. While last weeks game was called after the second inning due to thunder, they were actually able to have a complete game this week finishing all three innings. Then Ella, Isabella and I went to see The Wizard of Oz at Isabella's school. It was put on by the 4th through 8th graders and they did a great job. You can tell they worked really hard. After the show the younger kids could meet the cast and get autographs from the "stars." On Sunday Grandma and Pap came with us to TANA, an Ethiopian restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is so nice. He was great with the kids. He was excited to hear that we were going to Ethiopia next week and gave us his family's phone number(who live in Addis Ababa). You could tell how much he loves Ehtiopia and how much he misses his family. He wants us to bring somethings back from his family. We'll see if that works out. After dinner we had Tinkerbell cake and ice cream in honor of Isabella's birthday. I was also able to pack Eyob's and my stuff in one suitcase weighing under 50lbs. We are still waiting for some donations and then I will begin the task of getting them to fit in the remaining three bags(Kevin packs most of his stuff in his carryon). Other than that we just have a little paper work to fill out and a short list of things to buy and we'll be ready to go. 6 days and counting!!!

HiIsabella. Nanny and Poppy are so sad that we haven't seen you in such a long time. You look so beautiful with your Tinkerbell cake. Poppy is jealous of all your beautiful blond hair - especially since all Poppy's beautiful red hair has disappeared. Ha ha ha. I hope that Nanny and I will be able to come and visit you at your house as you asked me on your birthday. Nanny and Poppy love you a lot. !!!

Your kids are so adorable! How neat to be able to go to that Ethiopian restaurant. I sure hope it works out to meet up with his family :). I'm so excited to meet you Saturday - it's coming up soon :)!!
